Connect Atlantic Utility Services Corporation (CAUS) was founded in 2021 following the acquisition of Cormorant Atlantic Utility Services, formerly PowerTel Atlantic, a subsidiary of Cormorant Utility Services Limited. In 2019 PowerTel Atlantic purchased the assets of Emera Utility Service (EUS) in Nova Scotia. 

We excel in getting the right team, plan and equipment together to execute projects. Whether it’s project management, design, construction, testing, maintenance, commissioning, or inspections – our experienced team can get the job done.

Our projects are completed safely on time, on budget and with exceptional quality. Our fleet of over 100 vehicles, including both on-road and off-road capabilities, allows us to scale from small urban distribution jobs to large remote high voltage wood and steel transmission projects. With the support from Pilot Wave Holdings, we also leverage data science and analytics to improve our services and return on investment for the customer.

CAUS is one of Atlantic Canada’s largest Utility Service Contractors, specializing in Energized Transmission and Distribution maintenance. Our suite of services includes:
